'A Random Sequence of Events' on Magazine Sixty...

'A Random Sequence of Events' by f5point6, the third and final instalment in a series of three releases from multidisciplinary artist R.Cleveland Aaron, reviewed by Greg Fenton on the Magazine Sixty music blog. "The music engages your mind in provocative ways as sounds gather pace across refrains like heat blowing hot and cool the air remains breathlessly exciting, and touching."

A new full-length album from f5point6 and also a timely reminder that, at his core, he is a visual artist, so as a producer of music, his aim is to create visual sounds. This is an exploration and personal interpretation of jazz, Detroit techno and ambient electronica set against the backdrop of a cinematic musical landscape. As a listening experience, 'A Random Sequence of Events' is as dynamic as it is immersive. This is music to lose yourself in, suspend time and pause for thought. 'A Random Sequence of Events' is also available in a limited edition compact disc version. Release date: 20 September 2024.
